Vung Tau Industrial Zone, Vietnam

Zalo Energy, in collaboration with its local partner in Vietnam, conducted a comprehensive on-site survey of a 5-hectare land parcel in the Vung Tau Industrial Zone, laying the foundation for future green energy development in the region. Strategically located near an international airport and three major deep-water ports, the site offers exceptional advantages in logistics and energy infrastructure—ideal for efficient large-scale operations.

The project will be developed in three phases, with plans to construct three cutting-edge pyrolysis plants. Each facility will process 320 tons of waste per day, reaching a total annual capacity of 336,000 tons of waste plastic upon completion. Powered by Zalo Energy’s proprietary low-temperature pyrolysis technology, the entire process will be zero-emission, converting waste into high-value fuel products such as diesel, gasoline, sustainable aviation fuel, carbon black, and syngas—all of which will be used to support regional green power generation and meet growing market demands.

This initiative embodies the principles of a circular economy, providing an effective solution to local plastic waste challenges while reducing environmental pollution. It also opens new opportunities in the renewable fuel sector and carbon credit trading. Additionally, the project is expected to create nearly 500 new jobs, delivering tangible economic benefits to the local community.

This site survey marks a significant step in Zalo Energy’s strategic expansion in the Vietnamese market. Looking ahead, the company will continue to strengthen its regional partnerships, accelerate the adoption of green energy technologies, and generate synergistic value across environmental protection, energy transformation, and economic growth—making a meaningful contribution to sustainable development in Southeast Asia.
