Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Zalo Energy has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a strategic partner in Vietnam to advance the development of green energy and environmental technologies. As part of this collaboration, the two parties plan to establish a state-of-the-art pyrolysis plant in the Vung Tau Industrial Zone to address the region’s growing demand for waste management and to enhance renewable energy supply.
This project will leverage Zalo Energy’s industry-leading low-temperature pyrolysis technology, which ensures zero air pollution during the entire process. Utilizing proprietary systems, the plant will produce high-octane fuel (above 80) from waste materials with exceptional efficiency. The technology enables the clean breakdown of waste plastics, tires, and other solid waste into valuable by-products such as diesel, gasoline, sustainable aviation fuel, carbon black, and syngas, which can be directly used for green power generation—turning waste into sustainable energy resources.
Aligned with circular economy principles, this initiative will reduce environmental pollution through advanced waste-to-resource conversion while unlocking strong growth potential in the recycled fuel market. Moreover, the carbon credits generated from the pyrolysis process will offer additional financial benefits, allowing partner enterprises to enhance competitiveness while meeting environmental and ESG goals.
This agreement marks a significant milestone in Zalo Energy’s international expansion and reaffirms the company’s deep commitment to sustainable innovation. Moving forward, Zalo Energy will continue strengthening its strategic alliance with Vietnamese partners, accelerating the adoption of green energy technologies and driving greater value across environmental, energy, and market dimensions—all while contributing to regional economic development and the global sustainability agenda.
